Our Team

Our highly qualified and trustworthy team provide an outstanding level of education for all the children that attend the nursery. We truly believe that all the staff at Twisty Tails do everything they can to make a positive impact on your child’s life both academically and socially.

When hiring new members to join the nursery we continuously look for people who are extremely caring, passionate and will go the extra mile, to ensure that all the children get the love, attention and care that they deserve. Our aim is to provide the foundation to assist your child in becoming more confident and independent and proud of their accomplishments.

The level of attention that your little one will receive is guaranteed to go above and beyond expectations. At Twisty Tails the staff exclusively tailor teaching methods that are suited to your child’s needs to help them learn in a way that is most beneficial for them. We take great pride in ensuring that everyone is trained to the highest standards. The activities that the children undertake are planned to comply with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum as appointed by OFSTED.

Training is regularly conducted in house and staff are also sent on various courses/seminars so that they stay up to date with the latest in child development. Some of the languages spoken by our team include: Arabic, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Spanish and Swahili. Additionally it is mandatory for our team to undergo an enhanced DBS check, obtain a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate compliant with Millie’s Mark and Food Hygiene certificate.

We recognise leaving your child at a nursery for the first time is not always easy; therefore we assign a key person who will be responsible for your child. This person will help to settle your child into the nursery. From the moment you bring them in, to the time you collect them. You can be confident that the children will be in a stimulating and nurtured environment.

The key person is also accountable for monitoring and recording the child’s progress covering all aspects of development. This information is shared with you at our formal parent’s evening.

If you are looking for a new challenging opportunity working within a fun vibrant nursery environment please get in touch with our recruitment team. You must obtain; a proven record of working within a childcare environment, have a strong understanding of the EYFS, and a level 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification.
